Combination of 2 Builds - an idea
Recently, i've been playing a lot of touch rangering. I've also been in a few dual smite groups. I have tried an all touch ranger team in HA, and it works very well, often going through to the 4th-5th round, and usually losing to a spiker team of some sort. However, I came across the idea of combining the 2. 6 touch rangers and 2 dual smiters, as the touch rangers have run skills and are at close range. The combined damage of the touching (which is not stopped by PS etc) with the smiting could be huge.
Now, i'm only a rank 2, working towards a rank 3 so its quite hard for me to actually get a group together like this. If anyone on here wants to try they could PM me in game at Seth Mark Us, or you could try it for yourself as a guild team etc, I'd like to know how it goes

healing is done by each ranger, the touch skills steal health, thus healing yourself. also, all the rangers take zojuns haste and dodge (which can be swapped for frozen soil and perhaps Natures Renewal). as for holding power, im not to sure about that being only rank 2 and having only been to Halls once.

Lishi means you can't hold because you have 0 healing and no spirits to secure your ghostly etc, You're basically going to cap, get your ghostly killed, and just have to hope for the best as touch rangers have no interrupts to stop the other ghostly and neither do smiters. Relic run I agree with as you can't save your relic runner
In short, builds with -no- healing doesn't work, IWAY at least has the Orders necro

instead of "dual" smite, why not quadro-smite?
4 touch rangers and 4 smite?

That sounds more like a fun build that might get you few the first through maps.
For relic runs, just kill the other team and run one while they are down, and rinse and repeat.
I wouldn't be too concerned about holding. You can still get yourself a nice 52 fame (as well as have a lot of fun) just playing through the maps without skips.

Couldn't u just take two "proper" healers in place of those two? They'd probly have a real easy job seeing as the rangers heal themselves quite a bit. Just a thought, forgive me if that wouldn't work as I don't play HA.

3 touch rangers, 2 smiters, and a 3 monk backline might be able to do the job.

Might as well just play Pokeway if you want Rangers and Monks.

well how about 5 touchies, 2 smites, and 1 healing monk. The rangers do enuf healing to offset most of the damage they get, the healer is just sum re-assurance and healing for the ghost. I could see this working.

All that energy doesn't do much good against a spike build.

It's not ruining the metagame, it has changed it. (OMFG!!!)
It is counterable, so there is no need to complain.

Well, it does get annoying when in the top 100 there are 2 builds that everyone runs. Nerf it jsut because it's ruining creativity and diversity.
